What you'll be doing:

Every day, you'll be making a difference working with adults through community-based adult services in the borough of Walsall, providing support to both males and females. You will support with personal care such as washing, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, mobility assistance, escorting duties, etc. Providing support service and support with outings for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues.

Candidate must be flexible to work on a rota basis over a 7-day period including weekends and/or evenings. Morning shifts can start from 6am and end approx. 3 pm. Evening shifts start at around 3pm and finish between 10 pm and 11 pm. Each shift in each area have different start and finish times according to individual shift patterns. Flexibility is an essential and critical requirement of the job role.

Desirable traits:

A minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare background is required. Training and experience equivalent to a recognised Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be beneficial. Drivers with use of their own vehicle are required and is essential for this job role.

Experience or qualification of working with autism, learning disabilities and dementia will be preferred.
